Marc Jacobs Multi Material Sandals
These sandals may be too heavy on the texture, even for me. Yes, I said it.
That doesn't mean I'd turn them away if they showed up at my doorstep. Check them out at LUISAVIAROMA for the full 360 degree view. The detail is pretty amazing.

Spring Dress Round Up, pt.1
The best part about spring is the sprouting green grass, the bright tulips, and the blissful sunshine warming your shoulders that are finally sporting a flowy sundress! I LOVE sundresses. That said, I must remain calm, because 1) it is definitely snowing in Denver right now-no green grass, tulips, or spring sunshine in sight for months, and 2) I am regrettably not a member of the Gossip Girl cast, and thus I have absolutely no place to wear two dozen fabulous spring dresses.
Sigh. Oh well, I still love to look! There's definitely occasion for a couple, right!? Isn't that why we attend weddings summer after summer...?
Behold the bold and sleeveless new arrivals! While there are many awesome brightly colored pieces, black and white has a strong presence this season. You might think you're in the wrong blog, but don't worry, it's still me... just in black and white!

You had me at Green
I am a sucker for anything green. This season's citronella* is a very strong second. Inauguration Day did not disappoint! I especially love how the First Lady accessorized with olive J Crew gloves, and green Jimmy Choos!

On the party scene, Shakira's Oscar De la Renta dress was fabulous as well. Here she attended the Latino Inauguration Gala.

Green is the new black!
*amazingly-bright yellowy-green, aka lemongrass, chartreuse, lime, or baby-puke-yellow

I heart award season!
So much fashion all in one place! Golden Globe recap:
My fav for the night: Eva Mendez

I know, I know. I was surprised with my selection too. But I just love the cleanness of this look. I love the design of the Dior dress, and the Van Cleef & Arpels necklace set off the whole look. Plus the colors on her skin look beautiful!
Runner up: Kate Beckinsale

White and nude tones were a big look for the night. Maybe I'm diggin the white thing too. But what I really love about this dress is the top. The structured piece by J Mendel is beautiful, and she wears it well.

Texture is my theme...haven't you noticed?
Best shoes go to Heidi Klum: Christian Louboutin (who else?!)

Dolce & Gabbana Spring Shoes

D & G has a glamorous spring line out for pre-order. This little Satin Wedge Sandal is amazing. Only D & G could pull off chunky and glam in the same shoe. Genius!

Judith Leiber Collection

Seriously, even if you aren't a bird fan, check out her whole line at Neiman's. Cupcakes, dragons, ladybugs, or a simple animal print; whatever you fancy, she's got it.
